ACKNOWLEDGE THE SHIFT

Motherhood changes you—your time, priorities, and even personality. It’s okay to grieve your “old self” while embracing the new version of you. You don’t have to choose. between being a mom and being YOU.

Reconnect with What Makes You Feel Like You

What hobbies did you love before kids? Try them again, even in small ways. What makes you feel excited, creative, or energized? Lean into those things. Create a simple “Me List” of things you love (books, music, activities, etc.).

Prioritize Small Pockets of Time for Yourself

10 minutes of journaling or reading before bed. A solo coffee run or drive with music. A hobby you enjoy, even just once a week. Dressing in clothes that make you feel confident

Build an identity beyond motherhood

Try something new—take an online course, start a small side project, or volunteer. Set a personal goal (not just a parenting goal). Create friendships with people who see you beyond being a mom.

Let Go of Guilt | You are not a bad mom for needing something that’s just for you. You are allowed to exist outside of your role as “mama. Your kids will benefit from seeing you pursue joy and passion too.

REMEMBER: YOU'RE STILL IN THERE

Motherhood doesn’t erase you—it adds to you. You are growing, evolving, and becoming an even stronger version of yourself. Give yourself grace and space to rediscover who you are. You’re not lost, Mama. You’re still YOU. And you are so much more than “just Mama.”
